The dollar fell to a two-year low against the euro, which may affect the effect of tariff policy

The U.S. dollar has fallen to its lowest level against the euro since October 2021 and is poised to suffer heavy losses from now on. There is a view that a strong dollar will mitigate the impact of tariffs on consumers. On the contrary, a weak dollar will exacerbate this pain.
