The founder and CEO of Janction, Hara, has become an important figure in the Japanese cryptocurrency industry. Despite accumulating extensive financial experience at KPMG, the real turning point was his encounter with blockchain. Hara admits that participating in the Jasmy project made him feel a true "leap".
As a traditional finance professional, Hara faced many doubts about blockchain technology. In 2016, Jasmy was still a semiconductor supplier focused on the development of IoT devices. At the end of 2017, the company decided to transform and enter the blockchain industry. Hara recalled: "At that time, the management had a poor understanding of blockchain technology, and the purposes of the tokens and governance structure were also very vague. I conducted in-depth research on ICOs and the cryptocurrency market and proposed to make decentralized identity and data applications the core of the token economy.
