Arbitrum Long-term Incentive Pilot Program Approved, 45.815 million ARB will be used for ecological development

Recently, the Arbitrum community voted on a long-term incentive pilot program. The final result showed that the proposal to allocate 45.815 million ARB won with a support rate of 57.49%. Among them, 45 million ARB will be used for ecological incentives, and 815,000 ARB will be used to subsidize personnel participating in various tasks.

Arbitrum pilot program vote passed, 45.815 million ARB opens a new chapter of incentives

This decision marks a new stage in the development of the Arbitrum ecosystem. The previous Short-Term Incentive Program (STIP) was widely regarded as successful, bringing significant growth to the ecosystem. Data shows that during the STIP period, the daily active users, total locked value, and trading volume of various protocols saw substantial increases. For example, daily active users in decentralized exchange projects increased by 118.72%, total locked value grew by 49.24%, and trading volume surged by 333.28%.

The new pilot program has made several improvements based on STIP:

  1. The incentive mechanism is more flexible, encouraging protocols to explore diversified incentive schemes.
  2. Introduce a 5-member committee responsible for the initial evaluation of the project to improve voting efficiency.
  3. Establish the role of application advisor to provide detailed feedback and guidance to applicants.

The application process is divided into 5 stages: application period (2 weeks), feedback period (2 weeks), screening period (1 week), voting period (1 week), and incentive period (12 weeks). It is expected to take about another month and a half to determine the specific agreements that will receive incentives and their incentive methods.

In addition, 815,000 ARB will be used to reward members who participate in the work, including committee members, application advisors, researchers, data analysis providers, and others. Community members who actively participate in the pilot program-related work may receive additional rewards.

Arbitrum pilot project voting passed, 45.815 million ARB opens a new chapter of incentives

Although the community vote has passed, final confirmation is still needed on-chain. The implementation of this plan will bring new development opportunities to the Arbitrum ecosystem, and we will continue to monitor its progress and impact.

The allocation ratio of 45 million and 815,000 in funds is very strange; it's time to check the addresses of the relevant personnel.
